Rights of Audience Review - Response

The Society of Solicitor Advocates has published its response to the draft report of the Thomson Review into the workings of the system of Rights of Audience in the Supreme Courts of Scotland.

The review followed on from the Woodside case in February last year, in which Lord Gill called for “a review of the working of the system overall.”

Ben Thomson, Chairman of Edinburgh-based investment bank Noble Group, was appointed to carry out the review. His final report is expected to be published in March.
