John Scott QC is a partner in Capital Defence Lawyers, Leith, and specialises in criminal defence work, with a particular interest in human rights.

He qualified as a solicitor in 1987, and was admitted as a solicitor advocate in 2001, becoming accredited as a senior solicitor advocate for legal aid purposes in 2009. In 2011, John was appointed as a Queen's Counsel.

John has been Chair of Howard League for Penal Reform in Scotland since 2006, and was Chair of the Scottish Human Rights Centre (formerly the Scottish Council for Civil Liberties) from 1997 until it closed in 2005.

Ross is a Director at The Glasgow Law Practice which has offices in Cambuslang and in the Saltmarket, Glasgow City Centre.

In addition to matters within his firm Ross currently holds the following external positions: President of the Glasgow Bar Association 2013/2014, Member of the GBA Executive Committee since 2009, Council member of The Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow since 2013, Scottish Legal Aid Board Quality Assurance Peer Reviewer (involves the reviewing of files held by other solicitors firms to ensure quality of service offered) since 2013, Member JUSTICE Scotland, Member The Howard League for Penal Reform

Laura is a partner at Bodies who specialises in liability defence disputes, acting for insurance, corporate, public sector and individual clients. As a solicitor advocate, she regularly appears in courts across Scotland in a variety of cases including defender personal injury, motor, professional negligence (including clinical negligence), health & safety and general commercial litigation.

Fraser is a Solicitor Advocate based in Falkirk, he has both an Honours Degree in Law and a Masters Degree in Employment Law. Fraser has been in practice since 1992 and has a broad range of experience of many legal practice areas.
