SSA - Afterwork CPD Sessions

SOCIETY OF SOLICITOR ADVOCATES – FREE CPD for SSA members via Zoom
To help Solicitor Advocates meet the mandatory 10 hours of Continuing Professional Development, the SSA are offering a programme of sessions which will cover a number of interesting and relevant topics.
The sessions are free to SSA members. The sessions will start at 5.30 pm and run for 1 hour. Email [email protected] to book your place.
Thursday 3 April, 5.30pm Sheriff Craig, “Be mindful of what you say in court”
Tuesday 22 April, 5.30pm Greg Fradd, The Accuracy People. ‘Right First Time - Every Time’: What Gets In The Way?
Wednesday 14 May, 5.30pm Gabrielle Watson will look at her current research ‘Judicial Nudging: The First Decade of the Scottish Sentencing Guidelines’.
Thursday 29 May, 5.30pm Shane Dundas - Fatal Accident Inquiries.
Tuesday 9 September, 5.30pm Cath Baxter, Voice Coach - Communicating with Impact – Tools to effectively influence
Wednesday 8 October, 5.30pm Hints & Tips, including an update on dealing with electronic documents.
Wednesday 29 October, 5pm AGM followed by a fireside chat
