Society of Solicitor Advocates Advocacy Training Schedule 2018
The Society of Solicitor Advocates (SSA) will be running its annual programme of specialist civil and criminal advocacy training sessions for 2018.
The SSA remains keen to promote good practice in all Scottish Courts and other forum and as such these training sessions are open to all Solicitor Advocates and Solicitors.
As Members will be aware from the Society’s July Newsletter, the Law Society of Scotland at its 2017 AGM approved a change in compulsory CPD rules introducing a requirement for solicitor advocates to undertake a minimum of 10 hours of advocacy-related CPD each year.
Bookings are now being taken for all sessions. There is a charge of £50 per session for members (£75 for non-members) and no requirement to have attended previous sessions.
